Stay away if you have Celiacs, they have many things listed on the menu as gluten free but are not gluten free. Basically the only option is the burger with a gluten free bun or salads and some sides. There is shared fryers and some of the meat for sandwiches, even the ones marked as gluten free are marinated in beer. Our waitress was super friendly and let us know nothing fried and most of the meat is not actually gluten free and they are trying to work to update their menu.

They have essentially no gf options. You can get gf buns, but no dedicated fryer and no dedicated space on the grill. I ordered the peach salad and the kitchen sent the waitress back to clarify that I would have to skip the peaches since they are grilled. They offer a beef sandwich which says it's gf with the GF bun, but the beef is braised in stout. And the only cider is Angry Orchard.

Non-celiac members of the party did enjoy the very large portions!

Very few items marked on the menu. The waitress didn’t seem to know much about items being gluten free. I had the tater tot appetizer and it was good, but I probably wouldn’t visit again.

No gluten free menu. Didn’t know if they had gluten free buns. Waitress recommended salads to be safe. Food wasn’t great. Won’t go back. Also, service was bad.

Very few gf options. Server was unsure and gave no suggestions except salads. No thanks.

Good beer. Terrible gf options for kids. Only option a plain burger, no fries. Not celiac friendly. Server was not knowledgeable about gf.

No GF menu, but server knew what was and was not GF. No appetizers are though according to her, turkey Reuben on GF roll was decent nothing too exciting.

Very disappointing. Although the salad I had was very good, the server came back after the first course to say they ran out of GF rolls. Aside from sometimes having GF roles, I don't think this place is particularly accommodating to celiacs.

Went to the Bay Street Biergarten with some friends (prepared to have limited options) and was very pleased by the friendly, knowledgable staff and GF options available to me. I ordered a chef salad and was advised about my dressing options; when I had a question the server asked the chef without delay. The salad was gigantic!! Honestly one of the best salads I've ever had out.... And I didn't order the salad because that was my only option, just that it was summer and a salad sounded good.

The server let me know that they had gluten free buns and many of the sandwiches/burgers were options for me as well.

Overall extremely happy and I would come back. The location has it's own parking lot which is another huge bonus in the market area of Charleston.

Excellent gluten free burger! The hostess knew they had options and when I asked the server she happily asked the chef who gave her a complete list for me! More than I expected! Great atmosphere and great craft beer for the husband. They've got wines but I didn't ask about the beer.
