Review of Bayou On Bay

They changed their BBQ sauce and their ribs and most other things are no longer safe. When I first started going to the restaurant they had gluten-free and dairy-free items noted on their menu. Then one day they stopped noting the allergies on their menu. With the latest menu change there was little left. In fact they had no allergy menu at all and the wait staff wasn't sure about the gf options anymore. After listening to the 'I think maybe' list I gathered that you might be ok if you order something very plain that has never come into contact with the BBQ sauce. The only thing they knew for sure was gf was the vegan jambalaya. It was very disappointing and we ended up having to find another place for our New Years Eve dinner. Their ribs were tasty. Even when they offered gf options there were issues with cross contamination and they didn't have a dedicated fryer.
