My family was just in Lake Placid for a week and my teenage son got pizza from Bazzi's multiple times. I explained to the owner my son had celiac and he could not have been more helpful. He brought the gluten-free dough and individual pan out to show me how it would be cooked. I watched as he took a clean ladel and used a fresh batch of sauce and cheese that were not touched by the other utensils to make the pizza. He made sure to tell me a clean cutter was used. He handed me the box with the pizza so I didn't worry it was touched by others that were handling gluten. My son loved it so much that he had it three times during the week we were there and each time I went into Bazzi's the owner smiled and said he'd make it the same way for my son again. Eating gluten-free while traveling is always challenging but the owner made me feel very reassured and my son loved it.
