Great meal! Friendly staff and very coeliac accommodating (I noted in the booking in advance). All but about 2 menu items were already gluten free or had a listed gluten free option to choose from. I don’t remember having so many options to choose from on one menu! Will definitely be going here many more times!

Great service and loads of GF options on the menu. The staff (owner?) made it very clear that they couldn't guarantee the food was 100% coeliac-safe, but hey, no one can in reality.

I had the pork belly main, and an apple & pear crumble which were both delicious. If I had to be picky, I could say the pork was a bit tough, but that would be being very, very picky. It really was pretty damned good. On top of that, the house red (a French Grenache Syrah Mouvedre blend) is, IMO, better than the higher priced wines on offer. To top it off, they gave me a free sample of mulled wine, which was a good as I've had anywhere.

The ambience is also good - quiet, and funky.

Will I be back? Hell, yes!

Tasty food, lots of GF options. It’s nice to have choice. I found this place recently and very quickly became a regular.

I live locally and have been here probably upward of 15 times. They are knowledgeable, have good contamination control, great vegetarian selection, and yum food. As with anywhere you go all the time, there have been one or two experiences that have been less that ideal (one particular staff member that isn’t there anymore), and the council has made them out a contamination warning on their menu (not their choice). I can’t recall having been ill after eating here and continue to return.

I ordered the Persian Eggs, which were specified on the menu as being GF. We also informed the server I was a coeliac. When the meal arrived there were no eggs on the plate. We were informed the chef had made an error and made the dish vegan friendly, substituting avocado for eggs. The server doubled checked with the kitchen to confirm the dish was still gluten free. I accepted their affirmation that it was. 2 1/2 hours later I fell ill on a flight to Christchurch. I had not eaten anything else that day and can only assume the issue was this meal. It's extremely problematic when the kitchen staff cannot be trusted.

I’m coeliac and very careful about cc. The staff here are very knowledgeable and their gf options are delicious. Ate here twice with no problems.
