Beach street grill makes most of their Menu gluten free
This restaurant really doesn’t need any more reviews to let you know how fabulous it is but if you are in SF treat yourself at least once, or twice or more! The food is delicious and they have many gf items. The service was great. Our 18 year old son is our Celiac and he wasn’t diagnosed until he was 15 so he is very picky. He loved it and felt well after. Afterwards you can walk down to the water and explore.
So disappointed. I rarely get sick when I am out. After 15 years, I have learned how to research restaurants and when to verify my meal when I comes out. I became super sick after eating here. I got the eggs black stone. I am not sure what went wrong but I verified the English muffin was gluten free and they said it was. Big bummer.
The staff cared about me and my disease and they made sure I got what I wanted to get. They made me a gf Mickey Mouse pancake! It tasted delicious. My momma said it didn’t taste like it was gf, it was that good! I will come back and you should too! I feel normal here. Review written by my 8 year daughter - she has Celiac Disease
Great breakfast, dedicated area in kitchen for gluten free.. I also have a dairy allergy and had to take off one star because the waitress missed the large amount of butter placed on my GF French Toast.. In her defense, she was very very busy and they did remake my order without putting the butter on top.. Many GF items on the menu and my husband, who is not GF, enjoyed his breakfast.. Seemed that many locals eat there and all tables, indoor and outdoor, were full.. Highly Recommend..
My wife has Celiac and decided to eat here based on the glowing reviews. She got extremely excited after she saw they offered the eggs Benedict gluten free. After the manager and waitress assured her numerous times it was gluten free, she ordered it off their menu. After two bites, my wife became concerned over the muffin and discovered it was not gluten free. About an hour later, she threw up when we arrived at the Gold Gate Bridge.
Many gluten free options. French toast was tasty. I must say our server was not too friendly, I asked a couple of questions about celiac friendly sides and she shrugged her shoulder and responded I don't know and didn't make an effort to find out. Didn't like that part. Other than that excellent breakfast
Very yummy and celiac friendly breakfast here! I agree with the other reviewers that it is quite pricey although it's organic, in SF and right near Fisherman's Wharf. Had the french toast which was amazing! When I grilled the waitress about their cc procedures she asked why anyone would mark something gf then cook it on a shared surface. She was super knowledgable and friendly. You'll have a fantastic meal if you go here.
