Review of Bear & The Wren

I reached out to them on Facebook and asked what “gluten friendly” meant for their pizza dough. They said the dough does not contain any gluten ingredients but the kitchen has flour and gluten in other items. When I asked about cross contamination they said they do their best, but cannot guarantee. He then suggested that if I put my order in first thing when they open they can make my pizza first to ensure it was safe. I thought that was thoughtful but didn’t want to force my family to eat at 4pm when they open. He said he would do his best to prevent cross contamination and flag it to ensure his staff knew I was celiac. I ate half of the Pizza because it was so yummy and happy to say I have zero symptoms.

The pizza was delicious! The best gluten free pizza I’ve had so far. I ordered the vegan pizza with gluten free crust which I was worried may be a bit dry since there was no cheese, but it turned out delicious! Will definitely be ordering from them again.
