Becks Fish & Chips

Went here last night after finding it on this app. Absolutely fantastic place! All the chips are gluten free, they've gluten free batter available as well as sauces. Nothing was too much trouble and they were super friendly! We sat in the restaurant and it was the nicest, melt in your mouth fish and chips I've had for a long long time. The gluten free brownie on the dessert board was the icing on the cake of lovely meal out. Was nice to feel "normal" and able to have something battered while out for once!

What a find! All staff have a great working knowledge of coeliac friendly practices and CC. All chips are automatically GF, as they have their own frier. There is a further separate fryer for fish & other battered things. They are put in an entirely separate window and there is separate utensils (in a separate tub on top of the heater, to further prevent CC). To tip it off there is even a GF curry sauce!

All battered fish can be made gluten free, scampi, homemade fish cakes,sausages (small and jumbo), halloumi fries, pineapple fritters, gluten free curry sauce! All the chips are gluten free as cooked in a separate fryer. The fish is all cooked in a separate fryer with all separate utensils.

Amazing gluten free experience and tasted delicious. The chef made a contamination error whilst cooking, let us know and then cooked again from scratch. The amount of gluten free options was be brilliant, almost everything they offered could be made gluten free. 10/10 will go back

Great place for GF foods. Great choice as well. One of the only places we found that do GF curry sauce. Well worth the wait. The queue does go down fairly quickly. Been twice now on our weeks holiday.

Had a fantastic meal here yesterday. We had cid & chips and haddock & chips both GF and they were excellent. There were lots of other GF options on the menu too. The service was great. Would highly recommend.

Had fish and chips with a curry sauce all gluten-free also had gluten-free scampi scampi was nice but the fish was absolutely perfect i’m a coeliac and I know when things are done properly these guys have a separate fryer for everything five star really nice staff Next time I holiday there I will be going back formal
