Very knowledgeable about gluten and were able to adapt the octopus to make it GF. The octopus, was honestly one of the best meals I've had in a long time it was just that good. The guy working there is also super energetic and kind!

Amazing find. Very welcoming and knowledgeable staff who pointed out exactly what was gluten free or not. Menu included gluten free bread and they also swapped the beer sausage for a gluten free one.

Would thoroughly recommend!

We really enjoyed this authentic restaurant. We were told eve everything except for grandmas soup was gluten free so had a lot of choice. I had the cod which was very nice. We also asked about desserts and the chocolate mouse can be made gluten free if you ask as they leave off the crumble.

Loved this place in Lisbon. Felt authentic and very local. Staff was knowledgeable and reviewed the GF options with me. I started with olives and got the cod entree. Was able to substitute GF bread for under the cod. Food was delicious and I did not get sick!

My wife and I were on our honeymoon and found this place on FMGF and were excited about it. They do have Gf bread, the waiter didn’t really speak much English, but seemed to understand GF and Celiac disease. That being said she got the tuna dish and ended up sick in bed 3 hours later. I would avoid this place if possible.

Very cozy place in Alfama neighborhood and great food. Our server (who also seemed to be the owner) helped me pick something safe to eat, and while he warned that they couldn’t guarantee no cross contamination in the small kitchen, said they are extra careful for celiac. I’m very sensitive and had no problems at all, I had the stuffed chicken and we also got a honey garlic goat cheese dip for the table with gluten free bread which everyone enjoyed. I also noticed the bread wasn’t toasted/grilled so I think they were taking very good care to avoid cross contact. Would definitely go again!!!!

Owner was so knowledgeable on gluten intolerances, allergies, celiac. I really felt safe there. I believe I got a chicken dish with cheese and spinach. So good. Not to mention GF bread 😊
