They have a “Gluten friendly” menu not Gluten free, there is no dedicated GF fryer, staff not very knowledgeable as the staff said “the oil is gluten free but they fry everything in it!” Lol, so I couldn’t eat the Nachos or fries, they said there is cross contamination in the kitchen and they can’t guarantee a safe meal, I decided to risk it and give it a go, ordered the Yucatan bowl (rice was undercooked), and has chips in it, I ordered it without chips though the waitress said if its in the Gluten friendly menu it should be GF but I didn’t know how if they don’t have a dedicated fryer. I didn’t have any symptoms turned out to be a safe meal but I wouldn’t go back.
Fried items are NOT celiac safe. It’s deceiving because the server said that they have a dedicated fryer but the oil is still circulated between both fryers and said that it is not safe for celiacs. Stay away from any fried items (which is the majority of the gluten friendly menu).
Extensive gluten free menu. Unfortunately even though they have a dedicated fryer, they filter the oil from both fryers together negating the purpose of the dedicated fryer. They also don't dedicate a server to your table, which means that someone who doesn't know you are celiac will be handling / delivering your food. BEWARE.
Had some pretty bad service too, but I hope that's just because it was a new restaurant.
