Cozy Caribbean restaurant off University Blvd with a good following of patrons from the Caribbean. The owner is a sweat lady that swears up and down that she doesn’t use wheat in her food except for dumplings on Friday night. So the curry chicken, the oxtail dish, the jerk chicken, the amazing (!!) legumes, the plantains, no gluten used. And that explains why we haven’t had trouble with the food though mainly we’ve had the chicken curry. Curry chicken falls off the bone. Comes with potatoes and cabbage. Food can take a bit to come out but well worth it. Call way ahead and pick it up. Don’t tip the bag that they pack the food in, it always spills out the side of the carton, they should use better cartons for take out.
