The food is amazing and they were awesome about gluten free. I got sesame chicken, friend rice, angel hair pasta, and mixed veggies. everything was amazing and huge portions were have a lot to take home for left overs. i trust that i can order delivery and still be safe
Very nice restaurant located in the heart of the Red Bank district. Street parking is difficult but metered parking lots are available.
GF menu is limited but has a wide variety of choices in each section. We ate there yesterday and enjoyed our selections thoroughly. Food portions were abundant, tasty and served hot. The duck l’orange was crispy and served with a side of orange sauce. The velvet chicken had huge slices of chicken in it and was served with, yes, broccoli, but it can be omitted since there was many other veggies in it. The angel hair rice pasta with pork slices and veggies was very good, as well. Also, we ordered the satay skewers as an appetizer and it was brushed with curry, so delicious. Overall, the meal was lovely and we highly recommend Beijing Bistro :-))
Their gluten free menu online was incorrect, after eating my wife was sick and the restaurant confirmed it was on the menu by mistake. Be careful while ordering online or over phone. Seems like restaurant was okay, we weren’t able to eat the rest of the food. Very large mistake considering they cater to allergies, my wife has celiac.
Worth the drive to red bank if you live far - been here twice and always order a few things and never had any problems!! Foods so good!!!
Delicious Chinese food. The staff was very considerate about making sure I knew what I could order
Overall, the experience was lovely. The service was great and food was delicious. When I arrived, I explained my concerns about me having Celiac. The owner came out and answered my questions. He did explain that they don't have separate pots and pans or a dedicated space, but they have had many Celiac or gluten intolerant costumers with no issues. That coupled with the other reviews on here, I decided to take the risk.
However, I must be a very sensitive Celiac (only diagnosed 4 months ago), because I am suffering from CC this morning. That is why I gave it only 4 stars. My husband and two other friends (all non Celiac) loved the food. So enjoy if you can as they have many great options, but take note that no extra precautions are taken to make it truly Celiac friendly.
Absolutely amazing! We had the pork fried rice, and the sesame chicken yesterday and aren't sick at all! The sesame chicken is unbelievably tasty with the right crunchy outside. (Yum!) The pineapple pork fried rice with beef was very light and not too over powerful in flavors. The Chicken egg corn soup was really yummy. Kind of reminded me of chicken noodle soup with the tiny cut up pieces of chicken. The staff was very accomadating and put in notes to the chef. Will definitely go back when we are in town. I would recommend this place for sure!
The food was very yummy and taste so fresh! Loved it!
I take back some of the stars! We ordered food at 2:00 for a 6:45 pick up and had to wait hours!
Love it here! There weren't even able to make one of their specials for restaurant week gluten free too! I just had to ask- they were super accommodating!
