This restaurant is quite lovely. The prices are very reasonable. I ordered a gluten free Wiener Schnitzel, and it was delicious. The staff is knowledgeable, and as a celiac, I felt safe. They have a separate fryer. Additionally, they offer gluten-free pizza and burgers.

I ate here three different times during my four-day trip to Füssen and had a wonderful experience each time. I speak very limited German but was able to communicate my allergy to the servers easily and they have an additional menu you can request that has allergen information in German. During my first time here, the server saw me trying to interpret the allergy menu, and pointed out each item on the menu that was gluten free. The following two times I ate here, I overheard the original server talking to other staff members to make sure they knew my food had to be gluten free. I felt very safe eating here and the burger and schnitzel I had were delicious. The staff was incredibly kind and very helpful!

Excellent Pizza, which if you are only allergic to wheat are amazing as the Pizzas, Burger Buns and Spätzle are made with 100% Dinkel (Spelt) flour. Great taste and good sized portions.

Had the gf pizza. Asked our server about how the pizza is baked (whether separate oven, contamination risks). He didn’t seem to understand what we were asking (in German), so he got the waitress who was German. She understood and had to ask the pizza baker, who confirmed that gf pizza is baked on a separate metal tray. Pizza tasted ok, but probably wouldn’t order again. Other options include gf pasta dishes.

GF pizza was ok, not great. They were the only place with gluten free options that we could find open on a Sunday afternoon in old Füssen. Our server was very kind.

Many gluten free options including Pizza (baked in stone oven on separate tray, dough prepared separately), gluten free buns for burgers. Also many vegan and vegetarian options (that can also be gf). Seemed knowledgeable and I was fine afterwards.
