Wonderful food. Wonderful service. Fantastic GF options. They were very good and understood how important avoiding cross contamination was. I had the salmon salad and my son (also celiac) had a pasta dish. We shared the gf chocolate torte. Very good and neither of us got sick. My youngest son and husband LOVED their dinners (lasagna and pasta pesto) they are not gf.

The waitress knew what celiac was and even brought me a free gluten free dessert! Gf items are clearly marked. I had the salmon salad and it was great!

Gluten free items are marked on the menu. Staff is aware of celiac and allergies and was able to answer questions about how food is prepared and steps they take to avoid cross contact. I ordered butternut squash soup and pasta fresca. Did not get sick. Note, they do not offer GF bread.

It was soo good! Our waitress was very knowledgeable and was gluten free herself. There is gluten free pasta and any of the sauces are safe. There was even a gluten free dessert that was to die for although I think it’s seasonal. Highly recommend!

I have been going to this restaurant for about 7 years now, I got diagnosed with celiac around a year ago and I was so happy to see that they offer gluten free! Gluten free items are marked and they offer every pasta dish GF. I’ve ate here twice since I’ve been diagnosed and have not gotten sick!

I have nothing but great experiences here and I have celiac and am very sensitive. They always ensure they are taking precaution, they make sure my pasta is cooked in fresh water, and bring my food out separately. I always get great food here!

The waiter said the kitchen takes precautions to prevent cross-contamination. I had chicken alfredo with gluten-free rotini. It was pretty good and the pasta didn't disintegrate like other gluten-free pastas.

Good GF option if you are in the area. Reasonable priced and great food.
They have a gluten free menu. I like their gluten free pasta with spinach, chicken and gorgonzola sauce. Also they have gluten free desserts like crepe brûlée and a flourless chocolate torte. So good!

I was so excited by the front and back gluten free menu! I ordered the Pasta Fresco and was not disappointed!
I came here from out of town, thinking by reading the other reviews that it would be Celiac friendly. However, they cook their GF pastas in the same water as the regular pasta! How is that gluten free?! So glad I asked, or I would have been super sick. As a Celiac who is also vegan and has a nut allergy, literally the only thing I could eat was a side of broccoli. I'd stay away!

Amazing place! They have a designated gluten free menu from front to back. It was my birthday and they even brought out a gluten free cake for me! Best Italian in Lexington.

Very good food, never got sick. They also have desserts!
I ordered a side salad with balsamic vinaigrette and Kalamata pasta and enjoyed without symptoms. The waiter confirmed that the pasta is cooked in separate water with a gf strainer.

We love the GF pasta!
Wonderful gf options and always great service!!
great food, service and atmosphere!
We specifically went to Bella Notte because of the positive reviews for Gluten Free options, but while they were kind and helpful, our experience was not good. I made reservations and told them that one of our guests is highly allergic to gluten so they would e prepared. After ordering, the server returned to tell us they had run out of GF pasta. The chef was on the way to Whole Foods to buy more (about a mile or less from the restaurant). That was nice. Did she just want her entree to go? (no...we did not). We would all wait for her entree to be prepared. She ordered the antipasto to hold her over. The food arrived after a considerable wait, and it did taste very good. They did tell us her meal was on the house and we could all have desserts, too. However, about the time we were going to order dessert, she realized she was having a reaction...don't know what caused it. The WF pasta, the preparation, or something else in the dish? We are learning that gluten is hidden in all sorts of products, and the kitchen staff has to check everything. Well, it just takes one bad experience, so Bella Notte will not get another chance with us...
Miracle Bakery, on the other hand, is awesome!
This is my all-time favorite place to go in Lexington for GF dining. They have a large GF pasta menu, and I don't feel like an outcast because I'm GF! I can eat so many things there!
Bella Notte is my favorite place to go in town. They have a great GF menu, and the staff is wonderful. My personal favorites are their spicy tomato basil soup and chicken marsala. Not to mention their prices are great!
Has extensive gf menu. Lots of gf pasta choices and several desserts. Was very good and server was gf literate. Can't wait to go back!
