Unfortunately, I had a poor experience here. I called ahead to ask about their Celiac/gluten free protocols to prevent cross contact. I was assured that the waffles were cooked in a dedicated waffle maker. When I ordered, I was also assured the gluten free toast could be made safely and the cashier labeled the toast order with a gluten allergy.
I waited 25 minutes for a simple order (this a cafe, so quick counter service type).
The food was OK, really small portions for the crazy $$ they charge.
I asked the person to delivered the food to confirm it was all Celiac safe and free from cross contact. She didn't know (bad sign) and got the manager, who came out and said that nothing is safe there from cross contact as there is gluten everywhere. And no dedicated toaster.
So disappointed to spend so much money on waffles and toast and to have a bad experience like this.

I got the gluten free matcha waffle and it was really good. Staff were knowledgable and accommodating. The waffle iron is only used for gluten free waffles, and when they heat the waffle in the toaster oven they double wrapped mine since I mentioned I had celiac disease. They also have gluten free granola for their acai bowls. As a bonus, they donate a portion of proceeds from their signature coffees to various causes.

All of their waffles are gluten-free so there is no cross contamination from the waffle iron. I told them that I have celiacs and they were super accommodating with changing gloves and making sure to take extra precautions
