Update: I understand this location is no longer safe for Celiacs. This location now sell GF goodies they make from their new dedicated GF restaurant and bakery, Gluten Free Angels on Cordata Parkway in Bellingham. Recipes have improved and now truly Gluten Free!

has problems with cross contamination.
If you're gluten free by necessity (rather than by choice), do NOT go here! Stay home and be safe and healthy.

They continue to learn and expand their selections and special offerings. My daughter has a gluten allergy and has had to avoid dairy periodically due to an allergic reaction she had as an infant. Their selection of gf and dairy free options have passed my daughter's picky palate. The Mocha bread, Pumpkin Bread and especially the recent offering of Lemon Bars are outstanding.

It is unusual that some Celiacs say they can eat their product without "getting sick." I don't know of any diagnosed Celiac who eats here. They are not allowed to call their products gluten free because they are not a dedicated facility, so they use the term "gluten freer." Buyer beware.
I absolutely love this place! It's so hard to find gluten free baked goods that's aren't crumbly or starchy, but this place out does themselves! Their breads are so moist and tasty even if you don't have a gluten allergy it is just as good! I'm new to the area and find myself wanting to go back and try even more of their delicious products! If you're ever in the area definitely give this bakery a try!
I absolutely LOVE this place. You can get a gluten free sandwich that is huuuuge for $5. The owners have a great mission and are highly knowledgable and honest about what they are doing. You can custom order just about anything and they can adapt almost anything to your specific needs, not just GF. Plus, they're GF cupcakes are the best in Bellingham.
my daughter is Celiac, highly sensitive and loves this place. their gf soups are wonderful! 32 oz for $6.99.

Other GF breads are 12-18 oz priced at $4.99- $6.99 and mainly use just Rice and Tapioca.
Bellingham Flatbread uses many different grains that have a higher nutritional value, the breads are 32 oz loafs so they are not finger sandwiches that get lost in the toaster when I decide to toast them, so at $7.99 a loaf they are actually much cheaper at only .25 an ounce compared to others who run .39-.57 per ounce. They don't even charge any extra to cater to other allergy needs, like egg free.
These folks work incredibly hard to bring as many delicious options to allergy challenged people! Thank You!
Overpriced breads that are not truly gluten free. The things I have tried were terrible tasting and made me sick.
Love the cinnamon bread

Though they are a little pricy, they have wonderful gluten free bread! My favorite is the garlic rosemary, they also do gluten free pastries!
Hands down, this is THE BEST place in Bellingham for GF food.
Be aware!!! They are not allowed to call their product Gluten Free so they have to call it "Gluten Freer." This is not a dedicated bakery. I cannot eat their product without getting sick. You cannot clean equipment well enough to prevent contamination when you alternating with wheat baking.
Awesome local bakery has dedicated gluten free baking days to prevent cross contamination. They supply gf crusts and other items to several restaurants around town. They have awesome graham crackers for smores!!! Yummy cookies and bread too.
