We have tried to eat here twice. Asking about celiac safe food brings out animosity in the staff. The first time a wait person advised “This is an Italian restaurant.” The second time the chef came out and aggressively advised that Italian food has gluten. We made him aware that Italy has the greatest percentage of celiacs per capita and is possibly the safest country for celiacs. He told us that they have gluten free pasta but boil it in the same water as the wheat pasta. We are still confused by this bit of illogic and puzzled by their inability to boil a separate pot of water. I was born and raised in Italy: food quality is middling.
