On m’y two visits, I found this restaurant overrated on most counts.
They don’t have a separate space for their gluten free meals, so there is risk of cross contamination.

The website states they have gluten free options. When I asked about the options, they informed me the only thing they have is gluten free toast and crepes which can be made with buckwheat. I was also charged 2.50$ extra for said gluten free toast. They had nothing on the menu that was safe. And after we informed them my kids can’t have gluten, they brought fruit loops as a treat for the kids.

Staff had no knowledge. They have gluten free bread but no dedicated toaster. I asked the waiter about if the sausage was gluten free and he said “I thinks so, I mean, I’ve served it to celiac people before” All food cooked on one grill. Cross contamination highly likely.

Great food and staff. Egg Bennie and potato pancakes with fresh squeezed orange juice was my gluten-free meal. Server was helpful in ensuring no cross-contamination. Will definitely be one of my go-to breakfast spots when visiting the city.

I ate at B&F on Sunday 29 May.

I got Kim the waitress who is also Celiac.
Kim recommended some options and I selected the bacon spinach omelette with gf toast.
I told Kim that I read a review of he service, amd I even showed it to her.
She came back as I was leaving and she told me that I made her day. I apologize if this review makes her unwittingly famous.

Amazing food! I had the eggs benedict with potato pancakes. They take allergies seriously and substitutions to fit your needs. 100% would come back
