Ben-Mar Restaurant

Just ate at this restaurant. The menu has SOOOO many gluten free options. Like any restaurant, I am always nervous trying it for the first time but the waitress assured me that my meal would not contain gluten and that the kitchen knew what they were doing. I ordered Chicken Marsala, it came with gluten free pasta and a salad. Food was good and fresh and perfectly cooked. I will definitely be back.

Awful. Chocolate chip cookie on the gf menu I double checked to make sure it was gf the waitress said yes. I took one bite and knew it wasn't gf. So I asked again she asked another waitress who said "I don't know ask the guy who made them aka the cook" so the waitress did and long behold they weren't. I got so sick from one bite. The waitress was apologetic but they have no idea what they are doing- I canceled my meal because it is lot a gf restaurant Absolutely awful.

Wonderful find! Nice gluten free menu. Since there is always worry about cross contamination when dining gluten free, spoke with owner about same. She stated staff has been trained about same. Grill area is cleaned prior to making meal. Had wonderful handmade black bean burger on gluten free roll! Highly recommend.
