Great food and knowledgeable staff, has separate preparation area and Celiac protocols for GF food if you ask. Fairly overpriced though, pesto gnocchi came to about $30 (included a $6 upcharge for the gnocchi, would’ve been $4 for GF penne).

Food was good but restaurant was very small, loud and crowded; I asked about GF bread and was told they only have a plain GF pizza crust. Overall the restaurant experience was less enjoyable than the food.
The waitstaff was knowledgeable and willing to help! My son enjoyed the pizza.

Food was decent, server was very confident with gluten free options, I went with the gnocchi instead of the gf penne and didn't get sick. I confirmed they used a whole different prep area for gf meals.

My food was very good and I did not get sick. I had the carbonara with gluten free gnocchi. I also have a nut and shellfish allergy which they accommodated with no issue. Pizzas are made in foil pans with separate cutter to avoid cc. My non-gluten free companions however both said their dishes tasted like fish when they ordered chicken so be sure to specify all allergies and severity when you are ordering.

Shared the GF gnocchi bolognese and Chicken piccata with roasted potatoes and veggies. No reaction afterwards.
Staff was knowledgeable about Celiac and made sure to ask about allergies at the beginning of the meal which I appreciated. Most GF Items were clearly marked on the menu and the waitress explained the rest.

i ordered online through “slice” and got the pesto pasta with gluten free penne. i wrote in the special instructions that i had a gluten allergy. the food was delicious but i definitely had a poor reaction to it. my best guess is that it was cross contamination but i’m not totally sure. i think dining in the restaurant is probably safer as they have a great rating on here and a waitress/waiter can be more attentive to the allergy. i think ordering thru a 3rd party service was likely the issue.

I ordered gluten-free penne and they gave me the wrong order. It came non gluten free and I had to send it back. I would not recommend if you are allergic or super sensitive. The server was nice enough about it but didn’t really even recognize that they made a mistake or that it could have been a big issue. They have gluten free pasta and pizza crust. I haven’t tried the pizza but found the gluten free penne to be crumbly.

We has such amazing shrimp scampi over spinach instead of bread, then GF mushroom pizza and GF pasta with prosciutto, peas, mushrooms and added the sweet Italian sausage with a tomato cream sauce. Incredible! Server was so nice. Just a wonderful experience all around.

Expensive, but good food and had a very attentive waitress who shared other gf recs in the area. Sounds like pizzas are wrapped in tin foil before going in the oven. I ordered the gnocchi with pesto, which was great.

Excellent GF pizza preparation, even down to using separate water containers to avoid cross-contamination making the dough. Any topping option available. Baked in separate pan in dedicated area of an oven. Staff very knowledgeable. And, it was really good pizza!

Went here for my boyfriends birthday and ordered a pasta dish with gluten free pasta and specified it was an allergy. Food came out ( looked delicious ), and I took a bite and immediately questioned if it was GF or not. My BF confirmed it didn’t taste GF, and sure enough, it wasn’t. Disappointed because I did get sick so will not be going back. The manager didn’t seem to care at all.

They have gluten free pastas, gnocchi, and pizza crust. I had a delicious gluten free sausage and ricotta pizza! The waitress was knowledgeable and double checked with the chef. We could see them prep and cook the pizza. So happy I got to enjoy a pizza and not get sick.

Been here 3 times and food has always been great and I’ve never gotten sick. They have gluten free pizza and pasta which covers a majority of the meals they offer anyway. When I ordered pizza it came out in its own disposable pan which it was cooked in. They also confirmed they would not use any flour when I ordered chicken piccata (normally they do).
Also—HIGHLY recommend going on a warm weather day. They have floor to ceiling windows that they open when weather-appropriate. The place is small so once the windows are open it essentially feels like you’re outside. They also have outdoor seating but it’s limited, and the windows can still be open on the rare warm day outside of outdoor dining season.

Ate here twice because it was so good. Be prepared for a wait in the evening. All there pasta dishes can be made gf with either penne or gnocchi. All of their grilled rustic and brick oven pizzas can be made gf. Had the Penne Bolognese and the Penne Boscaiola. Son had the Brick Oven Saint Agrippina pizza, 2x. It has sweet Italian sausage, fresh ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce, and fresh basil leaves. Made in its own disposable pie pan. Just don’t try to be in a hurry.

The gf penne was fine, but overcooked like most places do unfortunately. I had it with the bolognese which was so hot it clearly continued to cook the pasta in the bowl. I ate it all because gf pasta never reheats well, but it was definitely pricey for a pretty average meal. I have a wheat allergy and am not sensitive to cross contamination.

Ordered take out from Bencotto the other night and it was great!! When I called in the order, the person answering the phone was super friendly and very helpful. I asked if the chicken penne broccoli could be made gluten free and he said yes so I went with that (but will be going back to try the pesto gnocchi that others have suggested). I thought the food tasted amazing and was enough for two portions - love having a second helping for lunch the next day! The service was great going to pick up the food as well and actively did not give bread with the order knowing it was not gf. Would definitely recommend!
Yes
My vegetarian boyfriend and I shared two GF and vegetarian pasta dishes. As another reviewer mentioned, the pesto gnocchi was absolutely amazing! Our other dish, however, came to the table with sausage in it even though that wasn’t one of the listed ingredients. We didn’t realize until my boyfriend took a bite. The staff was apologetic and remade the dish properly. I didn’t get sick, so it seems as though they were careful about it being GF, but it is concerning that a dish came out altered, even after confirming that it was vegetarian when ordering. They did not take any amount off of the bill, which was upsetting.
The staff was just ok they seemed uninterested and quite frankly bothered when I confirmed one of their appitizers was gluten free. The food and atmosphere was just fine, would not return.
Yes
They have a vary good GF pasta. They said me that the GF is made in different pans.
