Wish I could give this place 1000 stars!!! GF bakery! Best GF desserts I’ve ever had. Fresh baked. Other allergies addressed here too. But EVERYTHING they bake is GF!!!! I got a lemon bar, Italian cream cake, flourless chocolate cake, pound cake, orange cranberry breakfast cake. Went back twice!!! (It was Christmas after all!!) Another review! Ordered an Italian Cream cake for my birthday. It was SOOOOO good! I ordered the 8” cake and it was big enough for everyone—but I forget how people shy away from GF—but I managed to eat most of it over several days! Absolutely delicious! I ordered in advance and it was ready on time.

I love that they have everything labeled with common allergens and had gf products along the walls for sale as well. I tried two different quiches, a cupcake, and a cookie sandwich and was very happy with all my food.

Amazing selection, extremely friendly people - and as a dedicated facility, my worry was eliminated. The market shelves have hard to find items as well. As an out of towner, this was such a treat!

Great find on our first morning in Knoxville! Amazing selection of baked good, packaged gf items, breakfast sandwiches and lunch items. We had the biscuit, egg and cheese sandwiches and they were awesome! Also tried an ice cream sandwich and a cookie cake—we couldn’t help ourselves! Delicious!

I live 2 hours away and drive here multiple times a year. It’s that good! The frosted cinnamon rolls and glazed donuts are AMAZING!!!! The person who wrote the last review is either a troll or wrote the review on the wrong business because this place doesn’t have pizza or waitresses and is exclusively GF. I’m not a huge fan of their cupcakes or s’mores bars, but everything else is so good, they still get 5 stars! Staff is friendly too! :)

I tested a Gluten Free Pizza Crust with a Nima sensor, and it came up with gluten. The waitress then told me that cross contamination happens all the time in their facility.

I FREAKING LOVE THIS PLACE! You can find me here 2-3 days a week. The curry chicken salad is amazing and I’ve never gotten anything dessert wise that isn’t divine. It’s amazing having somewhere to go and not have to specify on my allergy. 10/10 recommend.

It is a dedicated gluten free facility and it was awesome the staff were very helpful and even gave me a sample of a few things to try ! My boyfriend liked the cinnamon roles and he’s not celiac. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. We will be back ! I wish we had a place like this in nashville!

They held some cinnamon rolls for us since we couldn’t come early and know they run out. They were so kind in answering all our questions. And of course everything was so delicious that even my non-gluten free family enjoyed their treats!!

Best place to eat for GF! They even had some Dairy free, paleo, and others. My whole family loved everything we got, even the ones that can eat gluten. The quiche was awesome & so flavorful. My husband said the lemon pound cake didn’t taste GF, like some things do. After we ate, we bought more for the road.

Excellent service. Everything is gluten free. Quiche and bacon cheese scones for breakfast with coffee. Wraps and soup to go for lunch. And about a dozen sweet treats wrapped up to go along with a smoothie. Will stop again on the way through!

There is not a bad thing in the shop. My favorite is either the cheesecakes or the pineapple upside down cake. I love that I can get something that I can eat without getting sick, but that I can also get one of for my husband so we can have date nights at home and enjoy desserts together. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. This place is wonderful!

I absolutely love this place!! They are a completely gluten free facility; outside food containing gluten isn’t even allowed on the patio outside in order to protect their customers. Their cinnamon rolls are TO DIE FOR, but they usually sell out around noon, so get there early!! Their pound cake is also absolutely fantastic, and they have gluten free groceries for sale, too! I love this place.

Very friendly and everything looked delicious. Personally couldn’t try anything because they use a lot of tree nuts and I’m allergic, but hubby and son tried a cinnamon roll and a cookie and liked them! They did have some other frozen gf items you can’t get anywhere else— I bought some gf spanikopita and am pretty pumped to try it!

Was on a business trip through Knoxville and found this gem through this app and it was an awesome find since I’ve never been to a GF bakery. It was a very special treat to have a GF and dairy free cupcake that tasted like the real thing. I also had a tuna sandwich which was delicious. I just wish I could have gone on a Saturday so I could have had a donut.

Such a great surprise to find this place as we were traveling through Knoxville. I have a gluten allergy and was so excited to see so many choices. I got the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and it was so delicious and biscuit was not dry but very moist. I also got a doughnut that was very moist. I definitely recommend and will definitely stop again when in the area.

Disappointed. Not the same under new ownership. I have Celiac and travel many hours to BYL pick up large quantity orders. My last order none of the frozen items were individually wrapped, but just laying in a box. Upon taking a bite, quickly discovered everything was extremely dried out. No wrapping would easily explain this. I just tried a blueberry scone and it is not edible. Tastes like plain biscuit batter without basic mixing ingredients such as salt, and honey. Also, most items in the case are NOT wrapped and there is no backing to the case which means the food sits out in the open air all day. The last time I placed a large owner was under the previous owners. EVERYTHING that was frozen was wrapped. Nothing was dry. Hoping they will turn things around, if not they lost a customer. Also, many

Owner Response

I'm sorry that you had a bad experience at our bakery. Your experience is not typical. I would appreciate the opportunity to talk with you to get a better understanding of all of the details related to the order so that I can put processes in place to ensure that it doesn't happen again. In addition, I'd like to make it right with you. Whether or not you choose to return for additional purchases, I want to be sure that we replace all of the food you were unhappy with. Please do me the favor of calling me at the bakery at your convenience. Thanks. Kirk Icuss, Owner.

Totally GF dedicated. Also have many Paleo friendly items and everything is listed either as GF, DF, V, Paleo.... Tried their Build Your Own Breakfast Bowl, wow, fabulous and couldn't eat it all, very filing! They had already sold out of the biscuits, which looked SO delicious my mouth watered. Lots of brands you may have seen before in grocery section, but.... the items were things I haven't seen at Publix, Whole Food or Earth Fare. Also had fresh farm eggs. I went on a Saturday at 11:45, so take this into account if you wanna eat a biscuit on Saturday.

Good, drove far and out of the way to stop in for specific items listed on website. Unfortunately those items are only on certain days so I was very disappointed. From website I was thinking it was a lot of home made specialty items that I normally cannot find at most stores. However when looking around it seemed to be a lot of name brands that I normally see at my grocery stores. Got a few bakery items that were good but again, things I've seen before.

Wow! Just stopped here for a late lunch with my family. We are traveling from Texas and needed to stop. Small area for eating inside at but can take food to go. The owner was amazing! So friendly and welcoming! We had 2 bacon and cheese scones, paleo chicken salad sandwich (which my 9 yo son took from me to eat) we also ordered 2 smoothies to go. They had some fudge samples that my son really liked, but it isn't something the sell. The owner cut a few pieces for us to take on the road! Seriously, if you are in the area worth the stop! Looks like they run out of a lot of options as it's a small place and they have daily specials.
