Unfortunately, their gluten free food is prepared and cooked right alongside all the gluten food. Not celiac friendly. They use commercial GF pizza crust, and prepare it on floured surfaces and right on the stone in a regular pizza oven. It's a shame, because this place makes great "regular" food.
The pizza was AMAZING!! All their ingredients are fresh. The owner waited on us and because we were leaving town that day he let us have a fresh out of the oven cheesecake that was gluten free. Told us to just put it in fridge. Super helpful too. We will definitely be going back next year!
This is not a celiac friendly restaurant. They serve gluten free, but do not have a dedicated oven or prepare it in a gluten free dedicated area. But, if you are just intolerant, the pizza is good, although mine came out with half of the crust burnt. I’m not talking about just a little overdone, it was black. Not being able to eat a good pizza for years, I really wanted to eat every bit of that crust. But the rest of it was really yummy! Oh, and that delicious looking gluten free ricotta cheesecake? You have to buy the entire cake! I’m the only gluten free person in my family, so why on earth would I buy a $19 cake for myself? I didn’t, I wish they would sell it by the slice.
I really enjoyed the GF California pizza! Definitely treat yourself! It's delicious 😋
I ordered the gluten free 3 cheese pizza and it was Awesome!! I'm psyched, now I have a place to get a great gluten free pizza in OC. Thanks Bennie's keep up the wonderful quality.
Their Gluten free pizza is about $15, but can be for about 2 people. It is absolutely delicious and the place is very nice.
Wonderful gluten free brick oven pizza! Gluten free dessert choices too including ricotta cheesecake and chocolate torts. Will definitely be returning!!
