Don’t eat here. Clueless about celiac disease and the seriousness. Served gluten pasta instead of gluten-free and informed halfway through the meal that a mistake was made.

Served my celiac gluten pasta and didn’t tell us until after he ate half of it.

I had heard about this place from a friend, who told me the owner has a family member with a gluten allergy. I’m always a little skeptical with Italian places, but I decided to call to see what options were for me. The woman over the phone assured me that they make the GF food in a separate place, and are overall very careful. I decided to take a chance, and when I arrived, my waitress was wonderful. I explained I have a “gluten allergy”, and she told me how she knows that celiac is more severe than just choosing to be gluten free, and ensured she could make safe food. She was very knowledgeable, and even pointed out the two gluten free desserts I could have! I had the GF Linguini Rustica, Yukon gold potatoes, and the flourless chocolate cake. Everything was delicious, and I didn’t feel sick after! I’ll definitely be coming back!
