We’ve eaten here without difficulty. The man cutting the meat seemed very knowledgeable, we got the impression it was the owner, was the one the cashier had to ask for assistance. We were impressed he asked whether we had an allergy or intolerance. He changed gloves, cleaned the cutting board, etc. There are several meats and other items without gluten.

Took a chance on this place for lunch. There is no training among the cook staff for gluten/allergens, however the girl at the register was somewhat knowledgeable and mostly knew what items had gluten.
She didn’t know what celiacs was, so I just asked that they change gloves and be careful about shared utensils. Ordered brisket, Cole slaw and collards. Happy to report that they took it seriously and I had a fabulous meal that did not make me sick at all - and I’m a highly sensitive celiac.
Overall, I give this place 4* out of 5*. Very good barbecue, but some allergen training is needed. Wouldn’t be my first choice as a celiac, but would do just fine for somebody with a gluten intolerance.
