Review of Better Bread

As a longtime gf eater due to severe allergy, this chain of GF bakeries is fabulous. Everything is gluten free, so no cross-contamination issues. The selection of breads and in particular the pastries/cakes is also delicious. And it has the best chocolate and poppyseed cinnamon buns I have ever tasted. Not overly gooey or sugary but packed with great ingredients and brilliantly layered too. And each day I have been back, I have found new pastries added in the display, much of which is vegan and non-dairy too. Sandwich (which wasn't vegan) was excellent and the bread was moist (in the right way!) and did not crumble. They also have a very wide selection of non-dairy milks for a good coffee/matcha experience (plus regular milk if craved). I tried two locations, both of which were small-ish and you can see the staff making the food in the kitchen area. Eat in is possible but it's not really geared for that. However there is some seating area outside at one location and inside at the other. Apparently one place also serves breakfast. Only negative was that one location had music on pretty loud, so reading was a tad tricky, but that said, I gradually got used to it and there was a good vibe in the bakery; the staff clearly like to work there! So all up good value to be had and above all, great food! 👍
