Not celiac safe. Lots of good reviews here. The menu was labeled with a decent amount of good sounding choices. The waitress was super confident that my meal was ‘safe, no problem at all’. So far so good. Then my ‘Safe’ meal was carried out by a different server below a plate with a sandwich in a roll that was a little wider than the plate it was on, like stacked on the same arm. Not trained, or not aware, ZERO confidence from me. I will not go back. I don’t expect restaurants to cater to celiacs. But if they do they need to do it well.

Upon sitting down the waiter asked if there were any allergies at the table. When I said I had a “gluten allergy” he proceeded to ask if cross contamination was an issue. When I said yes, it is an issue, he told me what I could and couldn’t have. Easy ordering experience all around. Menu is clearly labeled and the food was delicious.

The server immediately asked if there were any allergies and asked if I could tolerate a shared fryer. The menu is clearly marked except for cocktails. Wonderful meal! Highly recommend the Sweet Chili Salmon.

Great GF options and amazing food

I know everyone says this place is great with GF and the staff is adamant it’s safe. However, I got VERY sick regardless. Almost didn’t make it home in time. It was clearly due to their food, and I was assured multiples times while there that my food was safe. Perhaps the server messed up and didn’t list the appetizer as GF even though I reminded her several times? Not sure. Whatever happened, I left feeling terrible.

Also, I’ve been here twice after making reservations weeks in advance. On both occasions, I specifically ordered a popular dish on the menu, per the servers. The first time I ordered the pork belly bowl and the second time I had curry. I was not impressed either time. After two visits (and a good bit of money), I consider this place very overrated in terms of GF safety and their food in general.

I’ve eaten here many times and generally have had a great experience. I no longer eat things that’s are fried here as I suspect there is cross contamination. If you avoid fried items and follow the GF menu indications you’ll be fine.

Much of the menu is GF and it is all divine. I love their crunchy rice lettuce wraps and green papaya salad. This is my favorite Asian food in the Triangle!

Servers ask if there is any allergy or sensitivity. They are very accommodating. I’m gluten free but not celiac.

When I made the reservation I noted the GF issues and the server exuded confidence in their ability to accommodate. We tried the lemongrass sausage appetizer, crispy pork soup, and papaya salad with trout. We got the macarons for dessert (one lemon and one tiramisu flavored). Everything was delicious and gluten free (Celiac-safe)!

Voted the best restaurant in Raleigh and one visit will tell you why. Their food is out of this world delicious. Very GF safe. Only problem is getting a reservation!

Had the yellow chicken curry and it was amaaaazing. Perfectly seasoned and I felt totally fine afterwards!

This place is amazing!! The menu is clearly marked gluten free. The servers have always been knowledgeable and confident while explaining the gluten free options. I always get the crispy lettuce wraps-- they don't taste gluten free but they are! The pork belly soup is to die for. And of course, the macaroons are amazing. They macaroons rotate flavors seasonally so you have to check if they are gluten free. They also serve shrimp chips that are gluten free as well instead of bread. The cocktails are also equally amazing. Go here if you are gluten free! It won't disappoint. Make a reservation though!
