While I appreciate they offer gluten free bread, I was highly highly disappointed. The server had no knowledge of anything GF, and the manager stated opposite information from what their separate allergy list states, but only did it through the 14 year old waiter and didn’t even bother to come talk to me. I ended up ordering the GF French toast and chicken sausage. 3 pieces of COLD Schar bread that was beyond bland with no spice. Could barely taste any egg on it. It seriously seemed like they precooked it, then stuck it in the freezer and barely thawed it. The chicken sausage was okay but too spicy and spicy wasn’t listed on the description. After tax and tip and only drank water my bill was over $16. I should have driven a bit further to The Root Cafe and I will definitely not be going back.
