Kind of a rough start - I asked about the hamburger steak being GF and she was kind of rude. I did order it and mashed potatoes with no gravy and veggies. Everything was freshly prepared and good. I didn’t have an ill effects and I am pretty sensitive.

On a trip and saw this on the app. We stopped and ate there. The food was amazingly good I highly recommend this restaurant. Just note it’s very small but the food is amazing. I felt very safe

Going to the beach, heading towards Highway 124 in Winnie. Stop at Big Daddy's for a great burger, hamburger steak with GF sides, salads, grilled seafood AND feed the GF tolerant as well!!!! They used fresh gloves & utensils, told me my food would be prepared seperately and so far all I can say is YUM!!! YUM!!! YUM! I got a GF burger one day & GF hamburger steak dinner another. No issues just really, really good food. They seaon their burger patties beautifully. And did I say, I did not get glutened. Please pack that place ... I really, really want them to be successful so they stay in Winnie. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

So happy to find this place!!!!!!! We always pass through Winnie on ours long car trips.

They understood to treat our order as an allergy. They immediately changed their gloves, grabbed new utensils, and cleaned the grill.

Our gluten free hamburger steaks, gravy, green beans, and mashed potatoes were under $9 each and so delicious!!!!! Way more food and way more yummy food then our usual chic fila atop.

I didn’t get sick. We will be making a meal stop here every time we travel.
