The employee changed the garbage with her gloves on, then she washed her station and all of the crepe making tools with a soiled towel and the same gloves on. She then started preparing food for orders with those same gloves.
Do not ask for gluten free bread to be toasted because they will throw your whole sandwich, lettuce and all, on a contaminated grill.

This place was great, definitely would recommend to anyone with Celiac. When I asked for a gluten free bread on my sandwich they asked if I had Celiac or not. It was all fantastic and a great breakfast/Lunch spot in Lake Placid!
Yes
This shop offers GF bread but they do NOT take proper precautions when it comes to cross contamination. They are a very busy shop, but don't take the time to change gloves for a GF sandwich, change cutting boards (or prepared sandwich on a wax paper), cut knife that's been used on other sandwiches. Although I'm sure the sandwiches are out of this world, it is way too risky.
No
This place has gf bread which is very tasty. They have 46 lunch sandwiches so I’m sure they can mostly be made gf. They’ve also got breakfast plates & sandwiches, omelettes, salads. They also have savory crepes made with buckwheat flour, but I didn’t ask what else is in them/if they’re gf.
