If you are looking for gluten-free, then definitely try this place. Everything is gluten-free, just order without the bun. All the meat, sides, and sauces are GF. Everything was delicious. So this app doesn't have certain selections to pick from, but, although they don't offer a dedicated GF menu, their menu is all GF except for the sandwich buns. It is definitely worth giving them a try.

Everything on the menu except bread is gluten free! We love the pulled pork nachos, brisket, and chicken. The baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, and whole baked sweet potato’s are great for sides!

I was traveling through the area and ate here and the food was wonderful! I spoke with the younger gentleman who took my order and he told me the owners are gluten free so that is why the whole restaurant is GF, besides buns. BTW, the BBQ sauce was amazing! Highly recommend!

We were so happy to find this place on our second trip to Hannibal. Important note: the location and phone number have changed. He was on Hwy 61, not in old downtown. Just Google Big Muddy BBQ to get the latest info. Now- the important stuff- owner/chef totally understands the need to be careful for cross contamination. All meats, sauce and sides are gluten-free. No French fries. I had ribs two days in a row because they are Sooo Good! Wife ate pulled pork and loved it.

Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I didn’t ask about cross contamination procedures. Food was amazing. Prices reasonable for what you got. You can have anything on the menu by just skipping the bread. The building is small but up to date on wheelchair access, and my husband was fine in a big power chair

Just a little diner space attached to a gas station, but OH, MY it’s good stuff. They said everything but the buns is gluten free. Friendly people, tasty BBQ and great prices. It’s a worthy place to stop.

This place is okay, if you HAVE to eat in Hannibal. The brisket is delicious (sandwich no bun) and so is the Cole slaw. The sweet potato was undercooked( the first one and the second one). The counter lady was friendly.
My husband and I tried this place for the first time while passing through Hannibal. When we asked the young lady behind the counter if they had gluten-free items, she said nothing was gluten free. I sensed that she didn't know what that meant so I explained what gluten was. She allowed us to look at their recipes so we could determine what had gluten. We determined that the pork tips, potato salad, and coleslaw were safe. We used their dry rub on the pork because their BBQ sauce contains Worcestershire sauce which in many cases contains gluten. The food was good. There was only one person working and we were the only customers the entire time we were there and it was 2:00 on a Sunday afternoon.
this place had moved up the street a block our two from the 301 Broadway address. I'm not a big fan of barbecue but my husband is. We both enjoyed it. the person behind the counter said everything was gluten free except the buns.
