Both of my children were recently diagnosed with celiac and I was nervous about eating out. My husband went into Big Papa's to talk to them before we all went in to make sure it would be safe. The waitress was extremely helpful. She explained that all of the meats would be gluten free. Unfortunately, the fries are not GF but they have plain chips and nacho chips that are GF as well as a house salad with no croutons and green beans. After we ordered, we heard the waitress tell the cooks in the back that the order has to be gluten free and could not touch anything with gluten. It was a great experience for one of our first times eating out after diagnosis.
