I’ve eaten here twice during my visit to Chincoteague . I would’ve eaten there a third time but unfortunately they’re closed on Wednesdays. They had good reviews here and GF items marked on the menu so I called prior to my vacation to see if they could accommodate me. I told them I have celiac/gluten allergy and they marked it when I placed my order. The kitchen does seem to follow a protocol to prevent cross contamination. I did not get sick after two nights in a row. (Tell then you have celiac/gluten allergy even when ordering GF items.)
I had the crab dip two nights in a row. It is not healthy but it is yummy. (It’s covered in cheese.) The second night I also had the broiled stuffed shrimp with the tropical shrimp salad and a baked potato. It was all really good and I would definitely dine there again if I return to Chincoteague.
(Note: they’re taking orders “to go” during the pandemic.)
