Came for breakfast, had pancakes, they were not tasty, felt like they weee microwaved, chew and dry. Anyhow, they replaced them with new ones which were just a bit better. Very large gf menu, they reassured gf was made separately to avoid CC. It wasn’t marked gf, and the pancakes looked just like those on the adjacent table so was a bit worried, however, had no symptoms.
Loved eating at Bill’s! Huge GF menu which is always lovely and I felt very confident in their cross contamination practices, they definitely know what they are doing! I got their GF blueberry pancake stack which was so good I went back two days later and ordered the same thing! The interior of the restaurant is very cute as well!
Very good experience. When we mentioned Celiac, they brought a separate paper menu. Server assured us they are very careful to limit chances of cross contamination. Beautiful little restaurant with wide variety of delicious food. We had fried halloumi and ordered a second plate straight away it was so good! Also, prawn cocktail, a lovely salad and fisherman’s pie. Highly recommend.
Delicious brunch in London while visiting from Canada. When I asked about cross contamination, the staff gave me a confused look and said “this is not the US… we take gluten free seriously here”😂 lots of options on the menu, the food was delicious and the staff were so kind, we will likely be back during our stay here!
Edit: we did in fact come back twice in one weekend, adding pictures of our dinner - I had the shawarma plate and Korean fries, all super yummy! Highly recommend!
Very helpful and courteous Staff. Separate GF menu with wonderful selection. I had pancakes and cheesecake whilst my GF wife had Korean fried cauliflower and sweet potato. All wonderfully prepared and preseted. Good value for money. No better place to eat in the area.
Amazing weekend brunch at Bills for the 2 coeliacs in our family. Bills is accredited by Coeliac UK. Blueberry pancakes with syrup & crispy bacon with a side of fried potatoes was absolutely fantastic! Other diner loved eggs Benedict with a side of fries. Truly wonderful to have such great GF options!
Ask for the gluten free menu, it’s possibly the largest I’ve seen and it’s a proper menu and not just something printed out. I had their burger with cheese, Rosemary French fries, and halloumi fries, it was all excellent. The bun did fall apart a bit but not horribly. I forgot to ask if they have a dedicated fryer, but the GF menu did have a QR code leading to a filterable online menu with many more allergens listed that you could filter out.
We had a great time and will probably be going to a different Bill’s closer to our hotel for breakfast
GF pancakes! Staff is very knowledgeable and announces/flags gf food when bringing it to the table. Be sure to look at the gluten free menu (under menus tab online), NOT just the allergen filter, because there are more options on the actual GF menu for some reason. They also have a physical GF menu.
Excellent service and knowledgeable about allergens!
