Wow!!! LOVED the Breakfast Dosa wrap. It was light and crispy wrap filled with eggs & potatoes and reminded me of a samosa (which I haven’t had since becoming gf). Also a great waffle and toast. I brought some desserts home too. Excited to try them 😍
This place is AMAZING. Everything on the menu is gluten free, and everything we ordered was so delicious. There's a lot of desserts, too. They even have gluten free tiramisu!!!!!!! It's HEAVENLY. There are lots of vegan and vegetarian options, too! The staff was incredibly nice and knowledgable; they made sure we knew as soon as we walked through the door that there's zero gluten in the facility. At the end of the meal, the only thing I was disappointed about was that I can't pack the entire restaurant up and take it back to Virginia with me!
Love this place! Ate there several times recently while in Asheville. I have several dietary restrictions, including gluten and dairy. It was wonderful to have multiple yummy options. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back!
Dedicated Gluten Free. Wonderful completely gluten free meal. The selection was vast and delicious. The staff was knowledgeable and even offered to let me read labels for other allergies. They have everything clearly marked for all other allergies as well. They even have pastries and other deserts. Would recommend this to anyone who has Celiac disease.
This place was amazing! Totally GF and many DF, NF, EF options as well. Not only was our food beautiful to look at but tasted fabulous. My daughter who cannot tolerate gluten and has a nut allergy was able to get an incredible cinnamon roll that rivals Cinnabon. She was so thrilled! The staff was super friendly and helpful. We ate at the tables outside, as we had our dog with us, and they even brought him a bowl of water! We would reccomend this place 100%!
This cafe was incredible! Sooo many options since the place is 100% gf! I got one of their house made sodas and a cinnamon roll. I returned the next day to get lunch. The gyro was really good, plus it was the first one I've had since diagnosis two years ago! Definitely recommend.
My wife and I are both Celiac and we found this restaurant on FMGF. We had breakfast and turned for dinner after a day at the Biltmore. Total non gluten restaurant. Amazing eclairs, and cheesecake along with great pasta for dinner. Don't miss it!
I loved this place! Sunny and bright and I could eat EVERYTHING because it is all gluten free. The staff was incredibly friendly and we were able to sit and chat as long as we wanted with no pressure. If I wasn’t driving a giant RV I would have eaten here every day of my visit!
As a celiac, I can say this is the first time I have ever gone into a restaurant without having to nervously explain my dietary needs. This place is just totally safe. Flavorful, interesting dishes. Absolutely incredible gluten free baked goods - had my first cinnamon bun in ten years and it was amazing! Love this place so much. :)
Very celiac friendly, if you had an extremely allergy you can eat here safely with no worry at all. Although the food isn’t something to be desired... not that great, there’s very little flavor to anything, the waiters and waitresses seem to be extremely pretentious. But, I will say that the bakery is the best gluten-free bakery in West Asheville. The cleaners are amazing as well as the cheesecakes and everything else they offer in that section!
I was surprised to learn that this restaurant is completely gf!! So this is my first time eating here. I ordered the Tandoori Chicken bowl less the Tomato chutney, and my party ordered the Tandoori Chicken bowl and Grass fed Lamb Burger. The Tandoori chicken is amazing! With lentil hush puppies! And the lamb burger tastes like a gyro!! And has a spicy coleslaw served with it!! Just amazing!!! So far this restaurant was an amazing find! So many more menu items to come try! But the desserts and breads are still to come!! We tried the eclair, cinnamon roll and caramel brownie. They all have good texture. The eclair is delicious, the cinnamon roll is a good pastry but lacks that cinnamon punch I expect from a cinnamon roll, and the caramel brownie was the group favorite.
I’m a celiac and vegan, and I was really impressed with all the options available. The food and service were great. Everything was well-seasoned, and the hummus is out of this world. It’s so nice to have so many options of safe and healthy/fresh food!
This place has entirely wheat-free kitchen w a good-sized menu, 2 pastry cases & a bar with some ciders, kombuchas & wines including by the glass & 1/2 bottles. Had the hummus appetizer, adobo chicken plantain sandwich, shrimp paella & bimberibon bowl (Korean BBQ). Plus To Go: slice of cheesecake, 2 slices of cake, 2 brownies, an eclair & cinnamon roll. All of this w 2 alcoholic drinks for under $50 for 3 people. Could’ve eaten for about $12 per person without drinks & dessert. Plus really friendly staff & the food was delicious. Worth the short drive from downtown AVL, plus has a parking lot.
Fried chicken sandwich on plantain thin pancake like bread with guacamole, lettuce, tomato was one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. Very messy but I guess you could use a fork and knife but we wanted the decadent pleasure of eating a fried chicken sandwich. Lime bars were outstanding too. As others have reported, entire place is gluten free. Many vegan options. The sandwich we got and the pork sandwich looked like the ones that would appeal to diners not used to vegan or healthy food. Lots of desserts and baked goods. Salads looked huge.
We have eaten here 5 times in the last few weeks. This place is AMAZING. My favorite things are the Jiam Ping, and the lamb burger, and everything else I have wrapped my mouth around. It is so great to have a place to go and not have to worry about cross contamination. Their bakery items are the BEST! Nothing is bad. Be brave try new stuff.
My favorite restaurant in Asheville! The food is creative, flavorful, beautiful and affordable. The owners are the nicest people ever and the menu is always changing, so there's always something new to try. A safe place for celiacs, and a great place for everyone.
Adding another 5 star review. FANTASTIC baked goods with several allergens marked on each item. Got a pumpkin bar and a chocolate chip cookie and am considering getting more for the ride home! Cucumber water, veggies, and ciders also available for quick road food.
This is an incredible dedicated Gluten Free restaurant and bakery!! They have pre-packaged food and drinks at the bakery counter for those on the go and a large selection of lunch/dinner plates made to order- counter service style. The cuisine is a fusion inspired mix with no refined sugar and plenty of options for all (although it's worth noting there is no kids menu). I am a super sensitive Celiac with an immediate reaction and the chef's knowledge gave me every confidence: right down to their careful product sourcing to prevent any Gluten from entering the restaurant. This is an exciting must-visit for anyone Gluten Free!
