I had high hopes because they advertise gf and have a menu with symbols for gluten and other allergens, but this is not a place equipped to handle celiacs. Through a combination of google translate (no English menu), a gf explanation card I got from the internet, and my friend who is Japanese, I was able to order one thing from the menu, pork with ginger and rice (sauce excluded). The pasta they can replace with rice pasta, but it’s made in the same pot of water with regular pasta. The karage (fried chicken) they can make with rice flour, but it’s fried in the same oil as regular flour. Same story all the way down the menu. I think the first option would be ok (just steamed chicken with white rice), but really they have no idea what they’re doing. I haven’t gotten majorly sick, but I do think I got some CC. Best to avoid
