Went there for dinner with our celiac 11 year old. They were accommodating, asked about any other allergies at the table, and were so attentive and kind. They brought gf bread to the table before our meal; we had a couple of flatbread pizzas and a salad for our main course--so delicious and everything safe for our boy. All desserts were gf as well.

Delicious GF pizza, the crust tasted like regular crust. I was told everything on the menu could be made GF. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. They had no problem accommodating my other food allergy as well. Highly recommend this place.

BEST GLUTEN FREE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I have celiac disease, found this restaurant while on a weekend NYC trip and went for brunch. Entire menu can be done gluten free. DELICIOUS gf bread was brought to the table. I got the breakfast sandwich with fries, probably the best meal I’ve had in my ten years of dealing with celiac disease. Wish I could give this place ten stars!!

Entire menu of GF options was heaven. An entire dessert menu I could order from? Crazy - but true! Fantastic, attentive service. You won’t be hungry for dessert, but they will gladly prepare it to go. You should do that. Enjoy!

A gem! This fine dining Italian restaurant is basically a gluten-free restaurant, which they don’t advertise as gluten-free. Everything on their only menu, they say “can be made gluten-free,“ but I later found out after visiting the place every day for four days, that it’s really a gluten-free restaurant with the exception of gluten bread, which they purchase. The food and service was great.

Came to Bistango for the first time December 2018 and Nima tested everything I ordered and it all tested gluten free. I was so excited that I got theater tickets reserved a room at the Kimberly intending to have dinner upon arrival and breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately, this time around, most items tested gluten found. I did inform the server that I have celiac disease and I did note it in my online reservation. The server apologized but didn't seem to take it seriously that there must be something different going on in the kitchen and that the food did actually contain gluten. That being said, my "normal" night out turned out to be another expensive celiac disaster. I am giving it one star because of the gluten found. If you are not celiac, this is a nice restaurant and the food is good as my husband was able to eat. The hotel is clean and a great price point and the bar, Upstairs, is also very nice.

Great service and great gf options. I wasn’t super crazy about the rigatoni. Maybe it was just me but it had too strong of an alcohol taste to it. They can pretty much make anything on the menu gf.

Every time I come to Midtown for business, I eat at Bistango. Separate prep, GF starter bread and GF tiramisu!! The pasta is great, extensive wine list, and they even have some craft GF beer and cider. Never cross contaminated here!

Excellent Italian food, and everything on the menu could be made gluten free with no cross-contamination! I never felt like I was missing out - they even brought GF bread with the usual chickpea spread and olive oil, and it was delicious! We shared grilled octopus, marinated mushrooms, lobster ravioli and pappardelle, and had the tiramisu for dessert, and everything was wonderful. The server was very aware of celiac and took care to explain that everything was gluten-free. Great date spot and relatively reasonably priced (bill for all of the above was a bit over $100). Highly recommend! :)

Very knowledgeable staff and so much choice Anything on the menu, savoury and dessert is gluten free, this meant I could try my family's choices as well Gluten free beers and a cider available. If you get a chance you've got to try this place I had the deep fried rice balls, hubby had meatballs all forms and son had flat bread margarita. Oh and..... They said they were able to do anything on the menu gluten free- I ordered the lobster ravioli and it was okay. Unfortunately the next day, my stomach was upset. It could've been the carbs, but there might have been some gluten, so just a warning.

Amazing food, the whole menu could be made gluten free! They brought me gluten free bread with oil and humus! I often am disappointed when my family get to eat the bread and I can’t, but not this time😊. The waiters are knowledgable, the pasta is fresh, the flavours are amazing. I ate the fig and speck flatbread which was delicious. They have gluten free beers and cider and to top off a great meal the desserts are all gluten free. I would highly recommend this place!

This place was amazing! I started off with Tito’s and soda then ordered the Salmone for my meal, grilled Scottish salmon, sautéed spinach, turnip and cauliflower purée, roasted cherry tomatoes and honey mustard dill sauce and it was delicious, cooked perfectly! Then for dessert I had coffee and Mousse, because I have a dairy allergy as well.. it was nothing short of amazing and left nothing to be desired.. the waitress was very knowledgeable and even brought bread for the table that was gluten and dairy free. I’m celiac and I had no issues!

Made a reservation online and wrote that I have celiac. As soon as we arrived they asked which person had celiac and explained that they have separate kitchen space for GF foods. They brought GF bread for me, and without having to ask they said the hummus is GF too. All flatbreads and desserts are GF.

We dined at this location for lunch on March 23rd. There were 6 in our party, including one adult with a severe gluten allergy. We each ordered different items from the menu and when lunch our lunch arrived we were told all of our plates were gluten free in case we wanted to share. The food was delicious and we were amazed that it was gluten free. Most restaurants offer limited options when it comes to gluten free desserts...fruit, ice cream, flourless chocolate cake and/or creme brûlée. We had carrot cake, warm apple pie with a flaky crust, cheesecake, and a lemon curd & gelato dessert that was unbelievably delicious. Do yourself a favor and try the meatballs. Everyone in our party was pleased with his/her meal, especially the gluten free member who had no “issues” after eating here. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. This restaurant will be our new go-to when we’re in the City.

Bistango is a gluten free treasure. They make eating with allergies SO easy. The staff is accommodating and knowledgeable. They proactively ask about allergy concerns. The food is outstanding. Everything they offer is either GF or can be easily. This was one of the best GF experiences we’ve come across. We’ll be back! You will love it....

My Celiac just about died and went to heaven! She could eat everything on the menu from the flat breads to the squash ravioli to the burgers and sandwiches and ALL the deserts! PLUS they had GF dinner bread that was hands down the best she’s ever tasted. Additionally the server was the best server we’ve ever had in NYC. I can not recommend this restaurant enough especially for celiacs who are normally left with the options of grilled chicken UDI’s bread and maybe ice cream at most restaurants.

The staff was very aware of gluten free and celiac disease. They could make everything on the menu GF. My daughter, with celiac, got GF bread to eat the fresh humus with olive oil, a roasted cauliflower pasta dish and the lemon curd caramel sundae for desert. She loved every bite and was afraid she was eating gluten because everything was that good. Fear not, she felt fine afterwards and she is very sensitive. My other daughter got the GF lasagne, that I tried, and that was delicious too. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Had a fantastic meal tonight. Made sure all my gluten eating family members were aware that we were sharing- something I can rarely do. Love the arancini (rice balls),meatballs, flatbread with speck, saffron papparadelle(!) and tiramisu. My tummy is full and happy and I didn't have to ask a million questions. Love this place! Thanks to our server Erin for making it a culinary joy!

Now this place is a definite find. They claim everything on their menu can be made GF. They had high ratings and a lot of them on the find me GF app so I had high expectations of this place. On to the meal. To start the wait staff were great. Very friendly. I ordered arancini and one of their meatball flatbreads. Arancini because I haven’t figured out the trick to making them at home so it’s been 5+ years since I had some. These were excellent. Second my waiter recommended the meatballs and I just had to try their house-made GF flatbread. This was also really good as well. I also received some GF bread with hummus to start the meal.
