i went here with high hopes and was kinda let down. the calamari was better than expected but the chicken parm hero wasn’t great. it got really soggy and wasn’t crispy at all. it was good for gf but i had higher hopes. i also kinda wished they had any dessert options.

Literally everything on the menu is/can be made gluten free and there are so many good options! I had a flatbread pizza that was excellent. The staff was knowledgeable, plus they brought me my own gluten free bread with hummus when they brought bread for the table!! Which has literally never happened before :)

Just not very good. Prosciutto di Parma was not from Parma. Mozzarella was not good. Duck was tough. Gluten free pasta was cooked properly though. I love that you can get so much gluten free but it isn’t good. Also my wife (celiac) did get sick.

This place is great with food allergies - pretty much everything on the menu can be made GF. However, I was severely underwhelmed by the food. Our dishes came out cold and the portions were so small for the price. Loved that they had vegan cheese options as well but they only had cheddar and our server warned us that it wouldn’t taste good with most dishes…which he was correct about. There are so many other restaurants with GF options that are 10x better than this in NYC so I’d pass on this one.

My daughter has Celiacs and I have both Gluten and Dairy intolerance. Our experience at Bistango was very good! We were greeted by our server and he immediately asked us if we had food allergies. After we explained our issues, he was helpful with directing us away from potential harmful menu items. All of their menu items can be GF. When we go out together as a family, we rarely have this many options to choose from, and that was our only difficulty. The fried Calamari was very good. The warm GF bread that was brought to our table was delicious. Our main dishes were excellent! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone with Celiac’s. No issues after dinner. The portions are just perfect and the bill, considering we are in NYC coupled with the fact that they really catered to our issues, was very fair. Overall excellent!

I really enjoyed eating here. They can make just about everything on the menu GF. Even a chocolate lava dessert! Had zero issues afterwards. It’s nice to go to a restaurant with lots of choices. I also thought the food tasted good. The short ribs were my favorite.

Everything can be made GF here. We came in for an appetizer and some wine. Decided on the Margherita and butternut squash flat bread. All flatbreads are GF for everyone which was fun to hear. The butternut squash flatbread had a squash purée base, thick bacon, cheese and shredded butternut squash with a balsamic glaze. It was DELICIOUS!! The margherita was good, but my sister definitely kept reaching for my pizza :)
