One of the best gluten free restaurants I’ve ever been to! So much variety in what you can get and everything we ordered was delicious!! Highly recommend. Our waitress was Erin and she was super friendly and accommodating- if you can ask for her!

Honestly, I don’t have a single negative thing to say about this place! The food is outstanding, the staff is so helpful and knowledgeable (especially Erin). The outdoor seating is wonderfully distanced and so gorgeous! Everything on the menu can be made gluten free and the pasta is made in house and is OUTSTANDING!! Shapes you haven’t had in years, like orichette!! Come here it’s FABULOUS!! 🤗

This place is great. I get the pizza (flatbread). Delicious. But what’s really terrific is how easy it is. I come with work friends. It is close to the office and the waiters totally understand what being Celiac entails (I don’t have to explain I need my own dip for the bread, what is or isn’t safe). It makes everything easy. I really appreciate it. Five stars for that. The food is good but the sense of safety and ease is outstanding.

Authentic Italian food—super accommodating menu (everything is/can be made GF) and all desserts are GF! the service was great, and the food was even better. I highly recommend this place, I will definitely return when I’m back in NYC again! Didn’t feel sick at all afterwards, just content and satisfied :)

Everything on the menu can be made gluten free. When they bring the bread out they also bring out a separate plate of gluten free bread which is really nice. Everything was delicious and the service was very good. Highly recommended.

Excellent restaurant. Look and feel are really upscale. The food is as the ambience, very very good. Only once mentioned the word gluten-free and everyone takes it into account serving our lunch menu.

I did not get sick but the service was incredibly slow (it wasn’t busy), and the risotto was surprisingly tasteless. They gave me gluten free bread but only because I asked & it didn’t arrive until the food did.

Fantastic gluten free options!! I celebrated my birthday by ordering calamari for an appetizer, gluten free bread, the rigatoni with short rib pasta, and cheesecake and tiramisu for dessert. They also have gluten free gin and bourbon! Delicious food and fantastic, knowledgeable staff - you know its good when you’re dining amongst the locals who have Celiac too.

My experience was terrible. Was only offered outdoor seating - in front of the construction - even though they weren't busy. Felt like I was looked at strangely. (Was it my T-shirt, jeans, and ballcap? Sorry, I came for your pizza. I figured that was appropriate attire.) Then after I was seated, brought a glass of water, and a menu, I was completely ignored. The server never came to even get a drink order. After ten minutes, I just left.

Perhaps my expectations are too high but my wife and I dined here last night due to the reviews on here. I found the food very mediocre and the GF pizza was not great. Maybe I’ve been spoilt by having so many light, fluffy and well made GF pizzas, this wasn’t one of them. I’m not aligned at all with the reviews on here. Service was pretty poor, staff looked bored and were not attentive and $100 for a salad, a pizza, a pasta and a bottle of water was way too expensive.

We enjoyed a lovely meal - 3 of us being celiac and experienced no ill effects afterwards! The waiters were extremely knowledgeable and explained how the food was safely prepared to avoid criss contamination and the food was delicious. We had the pretheatre menu and enjoyed arachini and meatballs to start and a delicious flatbread pizza with really tasty toppings. Would totally recommend

Can I give more than 5 stars? This place is amazing! The servers are well versed in gluten free and concern for cross contamination! They are very attentive too! Everything on the menu can be made gluten free, and it was all delicious! They even have gluten free bread with dipping oil, so nice to feel like a part of the table and not stick out not being able to enjoy some bread! The food is amazing, unfortunately we were so full, we were not able to have an opinion on desserts! We loved it so much, we went back for brunch before we left. Highly highly recommend this place!!

Went there for dinner with our celiac 11 year old. They were accommodating, asked about any other allergies at the table, and were so attentive and kind. They brought gf bread to the table before our meal; we had a couple of flatbread pizzas and a salad for our main course--so delicious and everything safe for our boy. All desserts were gf as well.

BEST GLUTEN FREE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I have celiac disease, found this restaurant while on a weekend NYC trip and went for brunch. Entire menu can be done gluten free. DELICIOUS gf bread was brought to the table. I got the breakfast sandwich with fries, probably the best meal I’ve had in my ten years of dealing with celiac disease. Wish I could give this place ten stars!!

A gem! This fine dining Italian restaurant is basically a gluten-free restaurant, which they don’t advertise as gluten-free. Everything on their only menu, they say “can be made gluten-free,“ but I later found out after visiting the place every day for four days, that it’s really a gluten-free restaurant with the exception of gluten bread, which they purchase. The food and service was great.

Came to Bistango for the first time December 2018 and Nima tested everything I ordered and it all tested gluten free. I was so excited that I got theater tickets reserved a room at the Kimberly intending to have dinner upon arrival and breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately, this time around, most items tested gluten found. I did inform the server that I have celiac disease and I did note it in my online reservation. The server apologized but didn't seem to take it seriously that there must be something different going on in the kitchen and that the food did actually contain gluten. That being said, my "normal" night out turned out to be another expensive celiac disaster. I am giving it one star because of the gluten found. If you are not celiac, this is a nice restaurant and the food is good as my husband was able to eat. The hotel is clean and a great price point and the bar, Upstairs, is also very nice.
