Review of Bistro L'Hermitage

Incredible French restaurant with excellent food. I had the best salmon I’ve ever tasted. They try to be very accommodating to food needs. That said, they are food experts but not food allergy and intolerance experts. I described my needs and included “no nightshades”. The server didn’t seem to recognize the term so I elaborated with some examples like potatoes but forgot to add tomatoes and I ended up with some tomato based sauce on my plate. Probably good enough for general intolerances if you’re clear (daughter with but allergies had no problem) but really complex cases like me or people with celiac May be too much for them. They don’t have dedicated prep space as far as we could tell.
