My family and I ended up here randomly and it turned out to be one the best meals during our visit to Colmar. I am gluten intolerant and I had no issue with the food. I ordered the 3 fish choucroute. It was delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant. Beautiful patio overlooking a stunning square.
Many items can be made GF, generally without the sauce. And they will substitute fries (shared fryer) for a salad. Very friendly. Our waitress spoke English and there was a menu in English. She knew all about what could be GF.
Initially brusque when I asked about GF options they softened a bit when I asked a second time and then eventually were on the front foot when it came to suggesting dessert (crème brûlée). Limited choices for vegetarians but I had a starter as a main sized up. Great setting and nice people.

Je leur ai écrit aujourd’hui pour savoir si un coeliaque peut manger à ce restaurant. Ils ne semblent pas porter attention à la contamination croisée. Voici la réponse que j’ai obtenue de la gérante : “Au vue de la gravité de votre intolérance, ne pouvant pas vous garantir la non contamination croisée , et par sécurité pour votre santé , je vous recommande de réserver dans un restaurant qui sera plus à même de répondre à vos besoins.”
An amazing experience and delicious food. No glutenfree bread or pasta but there are glutenfree options on the menu. Like sauerkraut is amazing and the creme brûlée is divine. Meat is available to order but without sauce. The servers give amazing pointers to eat glutenfree, they are very helpful
