We were there because of the Reviews here, the employee there was nice and we took the risk of the contamination..it was not worth it in our case, my girlfriend had pretty big troubles and unfortunately we can Not recommend this place :(

They offer gluten free ingredients, but they are honest about their kitchen being that small that cross contamination is inevitable. They use the same plates for gluten and non-gluten pancakes. A no-go for celiacs.

They served gf buckwheat crepes and understood gluten free but did paraphrase that cross contamination was possible. We didn’t have any issues. The food was good, served large portions but took over an hour before we were served.

The Bistrot is located in the city centre of Colmar. The place is nice. In the main menu, you can find gluten free options and some vegetarian and vegan ones. It is good for trying a traditional "crêpe" made with buckwheat. It can be salty and sweet. I have taken the sweet one with strawberry jam. So good.

This is a cozy bistro that had several GF options listed on the menu, including crepes and bruschetta/pizza, and several GF desserts. It is not a dedicated GF kitchen. Our GF kid liked their crepe. I liked my bruschetta. Friendly staff. Reservation needed on a weekend at lunch.
We returned to this restaurant a few weeks later, and enjoyed it again. For breakfast, they had a « formule » for our GF kid, with a hot drink, orange juice, and GF bread with butter and jam.
The main menu is very clear on what is gluten free and what can be made gluten free. We had delicious crepes and bruschetta.
