Went to Bitter & Twisted for a work dinner fully expecting not to be able to eat because nothing on the menu is labeled gluten free. I asked our waitress, Ren, if a cocktail was gluten free and she let me know that they take extra care to ensure that most drinks they serve are gluten free (with a few exceptions). The group ordered some appetizers, the crispy potatoes and chicken wings. Again, had no expectations of eating, but Ren let me know when it came out that both the fries and the wings were gluten free and safe for me to eat (the wings are coated in rice flour). I asked if it was made far away from the pizza because I am sensitive to contamination and she let me know that it was made on separate sides of the kitchen. I don’t eat meat, but I had the fries and I did not have a reaction at all! The next time I ordered a drink, she ensured me it was also gluten free when she brought it. I will definitely be back.
