Review of Bittersweet

The owner of the restaurant has coeliac disease so there are MANY gluten-free options on the menu including pizza, and here you can feel very safe in terms of gluten-free. There are also low-carb-style burgers, pasta, fish and chips— you name it! The menu varies from day to day of course. The one issue we had was that the restaurant was sometimes unexpectedly closed in the evenings when we wanted to eat there! We had a lovely evening chatting with locals and the owner and staff one evening after the main rush was over. A great bunch. If you have coeliac disease or just like tasty food, don’t miss Bittersweet! And to be on the safe side go for lunch there rather than waiting until dinner.
