I think Bivacco would be great to go as a couple, but not in a bigger group.
I went as part of a group of 7. The waiter understood coeliac and told me what I could order etc.
We had double checked the gluten free dishes a few times. The waiter told us that only 2 of the entrees we ordered were safe for me to eat and we were ok with that (the other members were sharing some breads). Unfortunately he forgot to write a note to the chef that I was coeliac for these items and it came with breadcrumbs on the top. I didn't realise until I was eating it.
A bit frustrating as we had checked 2 to 3 times when ordering and then they blamed me for their mistake. They did offer to make me something wise, which was kind, but i didn't feel like it when I've just consumed gluten
