Almost all Thai restaurants have gluten-free Pad Thai and Curry dishes. The server made those same suggestions to me, so I ordered the Pad Thai Chicken. After checking with the chef, the server informed me that this particular Pad Thai recipe is not gluten-free. She couldn't convey why not, but she was certain it was not GF and wanted to make sure I had a safe dining experience. I got the Yellow Curry Chicken instead and suffered no ill effects. Kudos to the server for double checking what is normally a no-brainer!
