We are visiting Denali at the end of the season. This coffee shop/cafe had all the items available that I chose on the menu. I have celiac and I was ecstatic to find gf breakfast items as well as bakery items (bonus). Best avocado toast that I have ever had.

They had 4-5 GF bakery options! All kept on the top shelf. I felt safe - ordered the apple crumble bar and a cappuccino.

Safe and knowledgeable about gluten and cross-contamination. Had GF brunch options as well as pastries. And homemade syrups for coffee. Will be going back!

Food was okay, but felt very safe. Had the morel mushroom and adobo chicken tacos. The corn tortillas seemed handmade and had good flavor but completely fell apart, making the tacos impossible to pick up.

Lots of gluten free options. Friendly and helpful staff. Coffee was good. Only concern would be cross contamination as gluten free bakery items share a case with non gluten free bakery items. They did have gluten free items on top shelf.

Awesome place but gluten free menu not perfect. There needs to be a separate toaster for the gluten free bread and polenta is deep fried with gluten items. Otherwise it’s a cute establishment.
My favorite stop at Denali for GF baked goods. Buckwheat Brownie and Apple cake were sooo good; you would never know they were gluten free!!! Coffee is good too. ;)

Expansive menu with lots of vegetarian/vegan options. GF pastries, breads, and substantive food options makes this a great stop while in Denali.
Menu had great GF options, understood cross contamination, staff were great and food was fresh and tasty! Highly recommend! Also cute and chill atmosphere.

Wow. A very creative menu, especially for Alaska, and lots of GF options clearly marked on the menu. Looks like nearly a third of the bakery items are GF too, although I didn't try any. The Heuvos Rancheros for brunch were great.
Menu marked with GF items. Staff was great answering questions I had and careful to avoid cross contamination. Had eggs, bacon and GF bagel. Would eat here again.
Black Bear Coffee House offers many gluten-free options: bagels, yogurt, ham, cookies, brownies, oatmeal, granola and scones. The bagels are Udi's frozen bagels - arrive early before they are sold out. I ordered a Breakfast Sandwich with eggs & ham on a Udi's gluten-free bagel, Greek Yogurt, and granola.
Nice little place. Surprised it wasn't already on the site. They seemed aware of celiac and needs of gf patrons. They did have a disclaimer about potential cross contamination which was good to know. Depends what you buy I think. Had a fair few items on offer and staff seem friendly.
