Desserts are premade but are labeled "gluten-free". I've never had any issues from them. Their desserts are absolutely delicious and their coffee is great. I've had their coffee, Italian soda, peanut butter bar, hummus and carrots, and more, all of which were great quality, especially for the price. Service was casual and friendly, they were busy as per usual on weekends, so interaction was brief but friendly. I always recommend this place to out of towers. Plenty of gluten free and regular options with a view of the lake. One of my favorite things Black Dog offers during the fall is their hot apple cider.
Black Dog has lots of drink options (coffee, tea, Italian sodas, etc.) as well as GF treats that are packaged up separately. Most of the food they make as you wait, but the GF breads and cookies have been made previously and are usually good. They’ve been great when I’ve been here and I’ve never been gluten-ed.
great coffee shop. most drinks are gluten free and they usually have gluten free cookies, pumpkin bread, and pb&j bars.
