Super cute atmosphere. We wanted to sit upstairs outside, but it was too crowded, so they seated us downstairs under the tent and it was fine 🤷🏼‍♀. Great menu. Separate fryer! Can’t go anywhere where this is the case. I just got a chicken salad, and it was not super enjoyable 😂. Over-grilled chicken on what I would classify as older spring mix, and slimy cucumbers, but still edible. I don’t do dressings. I had to ask 3 times for oil and vinegar. But I’m used to that 😂 I’m a salad aficionado so this didn’t make the cut. But the bacon cheddar fries (OMG). Looking at them… my husband and I thought that there was no possible way that they would be gluten safe. So delicious. Almost like sweet boardwalk fries and so much bacon and cheese. No bloating. No immediate reactions. A whole 24 hours after with no sickness. Safe to say- Black eyed Suzie’s is a safe return for me 🤓

I ate a burger on a gluten free roll and had French fries, also gluten free. Both were delicious! The waitress was very helpful and explained how many of the entrees could be made gluten free. I will definitely return again.

Any time I’ve come here, the staff seemed pissed off or generally unfriendly. Food has taken forever and they seemed to be unsure what is or isn’t GF. Made me uneasy eating here

BES used to be one of our favorites, but they seem to have moved away from their gf commitment lately. The chef (new??) decided to replace the gf French fries with gluten ones. Their menu says that the teriyaki sauce is gf but upon asking it is not. Their BBQ sauce has gluten. We were most disappointed!

Amazing food! It’s our frequent spot. Super sensitive celiac and have never had a single issue. So glad they added GF buns. Also, great service and the rooftop bar is a must for the summertime.

Had a gluten free menu, and my waiter Mike was beyond willing to meet my standards on my meal. I had ordered a gluten free grilled cheese with fries and it was absolutely delicious. Extremely friendly service and I will definitely recommend it.
