Review of Blackie's

When you have Celiac, you overlook negatives about a restaurant that would ordinarily make you hesitant to return. As others have stated, Blackie's is expensive. The classic cheeseburger was $15. And though it came with homemade chips, fries were $3 extra. While the staff was friendly and pleasant, we had overall poor service. BUT, we will return. GF food comes with a little sticker on the plate noting that it's an allergy. And that $15 cheeseburger? It was really, really good! It's served on Udi's toast and because it is a diner-type burger it really was best served on toast, so I didn't miss a bun. Dedicated fryer meant I could eat those $3 fries! So, next time I'm craving a proper burger and fries, we'll be off to Blackie's.
