I had the sausage, brisket and turkey along with cole slaw and potato salad with no symptoms.

I’ve eaten here so many times and always gotten the sausage. Today I saw the sausage says it is specifically not gluten free. I’ve never had a reaction even though I am a very sensitive celiac. When I asked, one person told me they’re referring to the sausage wrap, and another person told me all the sausage contains wheat ingredients but could not tell me what specifically. Now I’m not sure what to believe, and I guess I’ll stick to the brisket from now on.
Every thing is supposed to be gluten free except the sausage. But the cut the meat with the same knife that they use to cut the sausage on the same cutting board. So there is definitely cross contamination there.
No
I have found the staff very knowledgeable when I ask for gluten free. Yes the meats are all they guarantee. I have never had a reaction from eating there.
Yes
BBQ was ok not the best not the worst. there's no gluten free list for their side or bbq sauce. The only thing they can guarantee is gluten free is the meats. So in all not bad but not great.
Yes
if half a star was available i would have chose it .the people giving them good reviews apparently have never had good bbq. wow!!! where should i start??!!!... first of all the greeter was not all that friendly, the prices were outragious!! the sausage had no taste, and the spare ribs were dry. im a texas native of 45 and have had my share of bbq from all over the state of texas.blacks is by far the worst bbq ive ever had.i will never go there again!!!!!!! by the way for good bbq try the gonzales meat market in gonzales tx. or davilas bbq in seguin tx.
