Every time my family and I visit NYC we go here. We end up going almost every day of our visit for one meal or another. They are excellent about cross contamination and have the best GF selection for any time of day. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Gluten reaction due to cross contamination? Møre expensive but not more safe. Advice against.

We went on a Wednesday around 7p and it was kind of empty. But the staff new about gluten free and cross contamination. They have an entire menu for gf. They do have separate friers and toasters. The food was really good. I had grilled cheese with bacon and tomato, and cheese fries! So yummy. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Pretty extensive GF menu, dedicated fryer, & our waiter was very knowledgeable. I really wanted to try their GF pancakes but it was too late in the day. Sandwiches slices are small but the filling was massive so I was happy with it!

I ate here and had no issues. They are knowledgeable and use separate preparation areas. There is a completely separate GF menu, which is so handy. Didn’t seem to be more expensive than the regular menu. Enjoyed having the true American diner experience and highly recommend for those looking for the same.

This is like a typical diner. They serve eggs, burgers, sandwiches, and that sort of thing. They have separate gluten free menus and dedicated cookware, toasters, and fryers for their gluten free dishes. I ordered scrambled eggs with potatoes (french fries), toast, and sausage. I was skeptical about the sausage but they said they use different sausage from the regular sausage that is served. I asked them if they use the same butter to make the GF eggs as they do to make the regular eggs and they said no, they use vegetable oil. They answered all of my questions and were very knowledgeable. They even brought out ketchup packets for me on request (on a small plate) and when I ordered orange juice they carefully laid the straw on top on the cup so it wouldn’t touch the table. They were very careful and extremely attentive. I give them an A+

We ordered the Special Reuben and it was DELISH!! We felt very confident eating here because they have a separate gluten-free menu and a separate cooking area and a separate fryer for their gluten-free items. The staff was knowledgable and very friendly. The portions are large and the food is excellent. :)

We ate here twice and two of us who have Celiac did not have any reaction. Many GF options including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Ask for the GF menu which has tons of options! Only a couple of blocks from Grand Central!

I absolutely love this place. This is the first place i have ever been to that served gf pancakes and french toast. We were a little hesitant at first, because of the outside of the place, but when we saw how busy it was we knew it must be good. Staff was rushing around and in a hurry, but still had our orders right. I had the pancakes with eggs and bacon and they were all delicious. I really did enjoy it and would definitely go there again, if i ever visit there.

Visited 19 May 2018. Every single person working there understands GF care, and they are super friendly and nice. They’ve a separate section where all GF orders are prepped and cooked. I’m extremely reactive and had a wonderful brunch.

Good food, fun retro decor. Knowledgeable able staff, free pickle bar. Only drawback was old school gluten-free bread, probably Udi's, resulted in a less exciting, smaller than expected sandwich (although it was nicely toasted. Seperate Gluten-free menu. I didn't get sick.

I am visiting from Arizona and did eat here two times with no issues, they have a dedicated kitchen. This third time that I ate there, I ordered the chicken soup. And it was contaminated with their matzoh ball. It was like it fell in and they must’ve tried to pull it out quickly. I understand it’s hard to keep things separate, but I did have a reaction later that evening although mild, I will never return here again

Decided to give Bloom the benefit of the doubt despite the varied reviews so had breakfast there this morning, ordered what I expected to be gf pancakes from the very sour faced waitress. They were tasteless and had to be covered in syrup to be edible, soon after leaving I realised something was wrong my stomach blew up like a balloon and the food just lay in my stomach, a sure sign for me that gluten had been ingested and sure enough the uncontrollable diarrhoea arrived soon after. Please don’t take the chance on this place like I did it’s just not worth it, totally ruined my last day visiting NYC.

Not so celiac safe after all. Have eaten here twice without an issue but this past weekend I was sick 30 minutes after walking out the door. I don't think it was from the kitchen but from the waitress. She wasn't very neat when bringing food and drinks to the table, even touching the tip of my fork that I had to clean it before using again. Not worth returning if staff is so sloppy. Sick 2 days now, can't function and don't know when it will end.
