I let the server know I was celiac and she made sure to let the kitchen know. The items are marked as GF on the menu and if a dish is served with pita they substitute it with cucumber, tomatoes, carrots, and celery. I even got roasted tomatoes with my chicken kabobs, rice, and salad instead of pita.

The service was amazing and in general I think this place was superb. I feel like I've found a new place I can safely eat at, and nothing is better than that.

The server told me the owner is celiac so they are careful and understand the need for care. I ordered the calamari (YES, it’s GF!) and garlic shrimp. My friend is not GF but has a dairy allergy. They did get it mixed up and thought she was also GF and brought her a plate of veggies but quickly grabbed pita for her when we straightened out the confusion.

I have eaten take out three times from Blu Olive. I have ordered from the Gluten-free menu each time. Each time, my body reacted in the way it does when I have been exposed to gluten.

Spendy but great menu and always have to get their delicious calamari. I'm sensitive and let staff know about my allergy, and I've never have never had a problem. Before COVID, it usually busy but enjoyed the atmosphere eating in. Staff are very nice too.

I decided to try this place because of the great reviews. I got takeout for my husband and I (they are open during COVID) and it was delicious! Their takeout menu is clearly marked with GF options and the majority of their items are safe. I was concerned about ordering online because I can’t convey the severity of cross contamination but I did put in the comments that I was ‘highly allergic’ to gluten (easier than trying to explain Celiac’s to them) and it seemed to do the trick, I didn’t have a reaction at all and I’m very sensitive. I will definitely be ordering from them again!

I’m a vegetarian so I had the Vegan Plate. It wasn’t as much food as my husband got (chicken gyro) but it was still very good. We haven’t had Greek food in a long time because most restaurants are not safe for me. It’s not a traditional Greek as I’d like, but my husband and I both enjoyed our food very much.

The establishment is really cute and in a nice area.

I ordered to go for the first time and the food was amazing! The staff was knowledgeable about gluten free items and the kitchen staff is very careful about minimizing the chance of cross contact. The portions were large too. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Almost everything is gluten free! The pita bread isn’t, but they have a lot of options! I had the chicken souvlaki with saffron rice and Greek salad! Very yummy! And the staff was very kind!

Was absolutely delicious. Quality and taste. GF options labeled are primarily the kabobs and salads. About three kabob options. Saffron kabob was excellent. Service staff very friendly and patient.

Gluten free clearly marked on the menu - but still tell the server because they modify some things to get it GF. Delicious food and great service!
