Dont. Even. Bother.....................Neither the old nor the new location even bother to even try to be gd
This location had shut down.
Avoid fried foods including our yellow and blue corn tortilla and sweet potato chips (they may have been fried in the same oil as items containing wheat).
Avoid corn tortillas (there may be cross contamination with wheat flour).
Don't bother....yuck
I asked the waitress...whose mom had celiacs and she said that the restaurant had no gluten free options.
No
Limited menu & what I got was disgusting!
Well I hope the meal was gluten free. I petered from the gluten free menu. The chicken and queso was delicious. If they do not have a true gluten free menu; I do not think a gluten free menu should be on this ap.
Gluten free items are marked on the menu, however the blue corn nachos hit me hard. Never again.
No
I have celiac and saw that they had a gluten free menu so I took my family to the Frisco location. The GF menu was pretty disappointing, especially for a Mexican restaurant. Most options included an asterisk that led you to read that even items containing corn flour or corn masa could not be guaranteed gluten free, so that ruled out even the corn tortillas. The menu also listed guacamole and queso as an option but there were no alternatives for the chips (both types are fried in a shared fryer) so the listing seemed pointless. Most other entrees had to be altered in some way in order for the meal to actually be gluten free, often eliminating meat or basically just taking the food down to a super basic state which was not worth the money in my opinion. Sad to say we ended up leaving after our blue margaritas (now those I would recommend) to find dinner elsewhere.
They have a very small gf menu and very little knowledge here. They brought me the wrong meal, it even had bread on it. After a long time I ended up with a passable meal that they thankfully took off the bill.
Food was really good but served cold, twice. Had to ask for the gluten free menu twice then had to get up to go get it. The perfect divide soup is awesome but had to send back because it was cold. Then meal was served cold too. I'll come back in a crunch if that's where friends want to go but not a place I will individually choose to spend my money at.
Southlake location has great lunch buffet with lots of GF options M-W-F. Also have extensive GF menu to order from. Great gourmet Mexican!
